At SiGMA Europe 2024 in Malta, I delivered the startup pitch for XGENIA — an AI-powered platform for iGaming game development. XGENIA won the competition. The pitch landed, and the follow-up interview with the SiGMA team gave us a chance to explain why the technology matters beyond the competition stage.

What XGENIA Does

XGENIA's core product is the Blaze mathematics engine — a system that cuts slot prototype development time to around 15 minutes. For an industry where game studios typically spend weeks on mathematical modelling before a single line of code is written, that is a meaningful compression. The pitch was about showing that AI-native game development tools are not a future concept but something that works today.

The Competition and After

Winning the SiGMA Europe Startup Pitch was a validation of the problem framing as much as the technology. The post-pitch interview, filmed with Nicholas Jackman on the SiGMA stage, let me go deeper on the architecture and what it means for studios trying to compress the distance between a game concept and a playable prototype.
